Local files available offline

I recently downloaded an album on my desktop. I was able to get the album on my desktop version of spotify but I want it to be available on my iphone, I turned on "available offline" mode but it isn't downloading. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for posting and welcome to Spotify Community!

To sync your local files, you'll need to save these to a playlist on the desktop app first. After that, log into the app on your phone and go to the playlist you created for the local files. Just switch on Available Offline and your local files should start syncing.

Please also make sure that both devices are connected to the same WiFi network and are logged into the same Spotify account.
