iphone bmw bluetooth metadata problem

Hello,

I've tried all the updates but still i can't see metadata on my nbt screen except the first song. Does anyone have the same issue? I don't like to use with usb because it doent have the SEARCH tab. Please let me know if there is any solution...

What's your NBT software version? You can check it under Menu > Settings > Software update > Show version

I have the following version on my NBT and I don't have this problem:

TN-002.255.070

MN-002.255.071

Check BMW website for updates > http://www.bmw.com/com/en/owners/connected_drive_services/mobile_devices/bluetooth_software_update.html

Latest update file for NBT is UPD05073.bin

TN 002 018 070

I've downloaded the lastest software also but it shows like this. I own a 2014 320d but i bought the nbt later. would that be a problem?

I have a retrofitted NBT too, that is not the problem.

It looks like you have a older firmware on NBT and thats why it does not apply the latest media and telephone update. I'm not sure if BMW service can update NBT if it's retrofitted.

You can check what version firmware You have under map version information. Mine is NBT_H. This version number is alphabetic and as far as i know You need to have at least NBT_G to be able to install the latest media update.

thank you very much for your reply. i will check the nbt g or h firmware and will look forward to replace the whole firmware. is it possible for you to send the video of a connected bluetooth spotify play? i want to see action when you skip the songs.

You need to ask BMW service if they can update Your NBT. Then You can install the latest media update and i believe this will fix Your problems.

I have nbt G but still have this problem with latest update.
iTunes with beat one radio works fine .
I have had this issue since I bought the car in 2014 may.
Thought it's the same problem for all names, untill I drove a 2016 loaner and it worked impeccable !!!
I cannot understand why it's not working in my car!!!

Have You updated your NBT?

I have installed UPD05073
my NBT version starts with G
Do I need to install NBT, the dealer refused since i have no issues….

I have not used IOS devices for a while, so maybe there is a new app problem. Anyway, you can ask BMW to update your car, this will include a NBT update.

The dealer updated my software, and working great!
