Hi,

What is the latest update on this?

I just picked up a new VW with Carplay support. Was looking forward to using Spotify. Instantly had problems. Audio wouldn't play, app locked up. I didn't finally get audio to play but it played too fast. Sounds like I'm listening to Alvin and the Chipmunks.

Picked up the car yesterday (9th April 2016), brand new with the discover pro entertainment system. iPhone is running latest iOS (9.3.1) and Spotify app is the latest (5.3.0.1309).

I eventually got the audio to play by starting the audio from the phone but it was playing to fast and I wasn't able to rectify the problem. Ended up just turning off and listenting the radio.

Please can someone from Spotify reply with the latest update on this matter.

Fix this crap. I can't believe we have a thread of 41 pages for months to years and Spotify still hasn't fixed this.

Is it the version of CarPlay in the VW infotainment systems? Or CarPlay in general?

Apple Music doesn't integrate with my home Bose stuff, which is steering me towards Spotify. But Spotify doesn't work in my VW via CarPlay!
