When will a sleep timer be added to the ios app. I use pandora instead because of this one issue. Help? Update? Something?

Currently there is an idea posted for it over at the ideas exchange here. As of right now, Spotify has marked the ideas as "Not right now" since they are focusing on other features. Any updates will be posted there, so keep checking! Also be sure to add your kudos and comments.

If you are using iOS 8, as of the latest version 1.7 of the app, you can use the built in iPhone timer to stop playing your Spotify music.

Steps:

1: open Spotify app and play a song

2: open up the "clock" app on your iPhone

3: go to the timer

4: click on "when timer ends" and scroll to the bottom and select "stop playing"

5: set the timer for the amount of time you want

6: after that amount of time, Spotify will stop playing music

Maybe Spotify should review this again. This is the reason I still use player fm for my podcasts...
