Downloading Extreme quality stops after while

Hi, if I have a recommended quality for the offline songs all of mine song (186) are downloaded without problem on mi iPhone. It take aprox. 800MB od app data. If I select an extreme quality it starts downloading the songs but after short time it stops downloading, if I open app again downloading continue. But not all song ale downloded well. It has a green icon, but when i touch to play, nothing is playing stil 0:00. Uncheck all song. Nothing hapend in the cache, app is still has app data aprox 2,5gigs. Only delete and reinstall app helps.

So I thik there are two bugs:

1. the cache, users are trying to solve that here for a years...

2. the extreme quality download fails. When I open app to continue downloding I have a lot of song in unplayable status.

5,5 GB free after reinstaling of spotity. iOS 10.1, iPhone SE.

And what is really interesting:

If I uncheck all song, switch to recommended quality, it download all song well without interuption but now the same songs doesnt have 800MB but 1,2GB ...

Hey there!
As of the download stopping when you leave the app, that's actually the way iOS was built by Apple, it doesn't allow apps to run on the background after a time limit.

The best workaround I've found to properly make these big downloads was to disable auto lock on settings (Settings > Screen & Brightness > Auto lock, set it to "Never") and leave spotify open overnight with the phone connected to the charger.

After the download finishes by the morning, I set auto lock back to the original setting.
