Spotify isn't letting me search anything. When I try to search in the bar, it says "an error occurred try again" with an explanation point ??? Help!

This is ridiculous. I've had way too many problems with this app but this is the last straw.

Seems like it's a problem with Spotify servers right now (10:11PM EST on 11/24/16). Pretty widespread and not working on any device.

im having the same problem and when i tried to use the desktop website it let me search but it wouldnt let me click on any of the results

I've noticed these same issues occuring during the holidays, which might be the result of increased active listenership. Very frustrating to say the least
