Artist list suddenly empty

Have been using the iphone app with free trial for about a month. All of a sudden my Artists list is empty. When you click on the "Artists" option under "Your Library" it says: "Your favourite artists will appear here. All artists you follow on Spotify will appear hear." There is the option to Browse. Yet when I go to my profile, I am following 34 artists. If i follow a new artist, my total number goes up but they do not appear on the artists list. This was not this way before last week. I tried logging in and out with no success. Please help. I will cancel once free trial expires if this is how the app will work - its too hard to navigate and listen to the artists I enjoy regularly.

Delete the app and re-download. That worked for me at least once.

Reinstalled spotify on every device I use and nothing changed. Please let me know if anyone has a solution.
