topic Spotify weird bug? in iOS (iPhone, iPad)

So sometimes when I'm listening to a song on high volume some of the parts of the song where they sing become instrumental or I can't hear them at all. Has this something to do with the quality of the sound or something like that? Or is it a weird bug?

Hi @keedefee!

It looks like it's something related to your device. Does it also happen when you use other devices?

In your mobile, do you have the equalizer enabled?

I've experienced it once on my iPhone 6 but I recently switched to an iPhone 7. It happened with the songs Son Of A Preacher Man from Aretha Franklin and I Want You Back from the Jackson 5. Maybe it has to do with that they're both pretty old songs, maybe they weren't made to be on such high volume. I'll try the equalizer thing though.

Just to check - are they local files of yours, or just regular Spotify songs?

Just regular Spotify songs. But when I unplug my earpods and plug them again it's solved but I was wondering why and how this problem occurs sometimes.

So it must be an issue related to the earpods or their input.

Try using different ones and see how it goes.
