I payed for my first account then cancelled it after a couple months of using it but now I've got a new account and want to use the same card to pay for it but it won't let me get the trial or anything

Why is this?

Hey @Emily0312, welcome to the Spotify Community!

Special deals such as the free trial can only be claimed once per account and once per card. If you've used your card for another subscription in the past, you won't be able to get another free trial. You should still be able to purchase a normal subscription, however!
