Not Shuffling

My spotify isn't shuffling (yes the shuffle icon is green). It just plays all of the songs in any playlist in order from top to bottom. Suggestions?

Same exact thing was happening to me today, so annoying. And it was not doing it on the desktop version. I deleted the app off my iphone, reloaded it, and now seems to be working as it should.

In the meantime here's some troubleshooting steps you can try:

Log out and log back in the app
Transfer the playback from the phone to the computer or vice versa, and see if this works
Try a clear re-install of the app, as this usually helps for many ongoing issues

Thanks for the help. I'll remember that for future reference. But in this case it just sorted itself out.

I tried the same process as you but it didn't work for me. It just sorted itself out the next day. At least it's working.
