No Push Notifications

I am aware that desktop notifications have been turned off (which I think is a horrible idea by Spotify), however, have ALL notifications been turned off including for iphone? I have all the options marked in my settings to recieve notifications and emails but I haven't gotten any in 6+ months. I am not informed of when I have new followers. I have to scroll through my whole list to try to pinpoint new people. I don't get artist updates or anything. Yesterday I got an email for a badge notification? I don't care about badges. I want to know who follows me. I thought Spotify was supposed to be a SOCIAL music app but it seems that they want to take the social aspect away.

I've seen posts from other users that they aren't getting iOS notifications either.

I know that new releases are now shown in the Release Radar: https://support.spotify.com/using_spotify/discover_music/release-radar/

Also, notifications are no longer being sent for new followers, new playlist followers, and playlists updates. These notification types have been discontinued. So that could be why you haven't gotten any notifications lately.
