In the playlist, after changing the 'sort by' to recently added, going out and back in to the playlist, sorting automatically changed back to custom.

Same problem for me. It has been working fine for years, but then to fix another bug they told me to reinstall Spotify. Ever since then it won't remember playlist sorting options and resets to custom everytime I go back into the playlist.

Sorry about that. This is currently a known problem in the iOS app. It is being investigated. Hopefully it will be fixed in a future update.

This should be fixed in version 8.4.1

Make sure to go to the app store and update
