Why is this godamn app eating all my **bleep**ing space; I don't have anything downloaded, & it makes my phones stupidly slow when there's no freaking space because this ages old problem is still obliviously doing it thing; **bleep**!!!!

It is quite possible that this is due to the cache from Spotify on your phone. I had this issue when Spotify was taking up an ungodly amount of space on my phone.

The quickest fix to this is simple and follows:

Delete the Spotify app from your phone (make sure that you know your username or email and password to login) and then reinstall.

Thansk; it works.

The thing is I'm tired of using this as "quick fix" on my end. The software itself has issues, the min it could do is drop all memory usage upon exit.

That fact that it lingers afterwards is poor design.
