Hellow nitesoul!

Downloading (not saving) playlists/songs/albums adds data onto the app itself, just like adding songs into iTunes would. I have about 1500 songs downloaded and my app is over 20 GB.

I don't download my discover weekly playlists because I don't return to them frequently, but what I have seen people do, is to copy and paste the playlist for that week into a separate playlist, entitled "Discover Weekly 7/24-7/30" or something like that, then move them into a folder (created on Desktop).

This way, you have the playlists saved, but you don't have to download them, which makes this significantly easier. You can then pick and choose which ones you want to download, if they are more enjoyable than others.

I hope I have helped! If this assisted you, make sure to like it. If it solved your problem, please be sure to mark it as the solution! 🙂

Does this download songs individually every week? spotify was taking up over 22GB of space on my phone, so i had to delete the app and redownload a few playlists...it shouldn't have taken more than a gig, i'm guessing release radar and discover weekly playlists have been accuring over the time, is this the intended behaviour? - Is it possible to add a feature to 'temporarily save' in addition to 'download' the weekly playlists so it won't take up new storage space?
