two related things which I am sure aren't "bugs", as such, but are annoying me beyond comprehension.

I like listening to audiobooks, and do so a lot on my phone. but using spotify on my iphone to do it is just about impossible, since it will not remember playback position - or even what track it was last playing - of a synched mp3. if the app has been inactive (while paused) or if I accidentally play a video/audio file in another app, playback is lost completely. I find this incredibly frustrating.

related to this is the playback memory of synched online playlists (ie. not mp3s, but regular playlists). if I press play on a track in a list and listen for a while, but then pause and leave it for a while, the app will reset/refresh when it is opened again. the playlist I was listening to will be remembered - AND the playback position - but of the song I was listening to when I locked my phone after pressing play.

I can't be the only one to whom playback position matters.

Got the same problem.. I have a bunch of 1-2hr tracks and I'd love a simple remember playback position like there is for iTunes. Pretty easy feature to implement.. Hope they do it soon!

Using iTunes now cause I can't use Spotify for these tracks... Shame really.

Same hear. Podcasts are impossible to listen to in spotify. Need spotify to remember my position. And that the position is synced between devices.

Wow, from 2013 to 2017 and still we're requesting what would be a simple, yet HUGELY convenient feature?! Spotify, please implement!
