UPDATE:

Confirmed: iPhone 5 update coming in next iOS release!

I'm pretty sure Spotify will accommodate for the bigger screen size on the new iPhone 5.

You never know though, considering how long it took the devs to make an iPad app.

I want to get this idea flowing now, because it might take a while.

We'll see what happens today! Maybe a bigger screen isn't coming... Or maybe a smaller iPad is. Who knows!

App's on iOS seem to be fairly adept at scaling just fine, so I don't foresee too much of a problem with Spotify running on the iPhone 5. Can't wait to get our hands on one!

Yes, that's correct. Spotify can optimize the app though. You guys can add extra controls or something in that extra space.

You guys could even redesign the whole Spotify iPhone/iPod app to show more detail.

I can't wait to see what Spotify wil do with the bigger screen! 😃

Dear Spotify Developers,

I really love spotify, but the lack of an artist tab is frustrating. Maybe I want to listen to some songs by an artist, not search through the playlist to find that artist.

With the bigger screen you could possibly add an artist/album/song/genre tab at the bottom of the app. It would make it more comparable to the itunes music app and the users would love it.

Use the extra space to at least put a f******* CLEAR CACHE MANAGEMENT BUTTON
You are taking the Piss spotify, like forever to do a iPad app and now years for a clear cache button. Clear out your IOS Devolpment team get some decent programmers in to sort this **bleep** out.
