I've been finding my library especially takes a long time to load. Even downloaded tracks, which should be local, take a long time to appear.

I wonder if the app is trying to load all the other sections first. Your Library should be the priority, no?

I can understand it is frustrating that the loading times are taking a long time.

Do you have the latest spotify version?

To check your version, you can follow the following steps:

1. Go to the tab library in spotify (most right one)

2. Go to settings (the icon in top right corner)

3. Go to information

4. See version

Answering your question about the priority. Your library is not given a priority, since it is not really saved locally. It is always in sync with our servers, that's maybe why it takes sometimes long. The way why they do this is to for example give the possibility to recover your playlists.

I always update right away. It's version 8.4.18.632.
