Notifications for new music from artists I follow, playlist etc are not working on ios version 8.4.22. However they havent been working for months, maybe even years.

All the right settings are switched on on my phone, and on my online profile so that is not the problem.

How do i fix this? Sometimes I don't realise there has been new music released until weeks after because of this problem!!

I have also tried reinstalling the app but this hasn't fixed anything

I'm having the same issue, i have the latest spotify version installed 8.4.2.8 and push notifications are not working. Also noticed that no one from Spotify replyed to this thread, can someone help us? I personally really need this feature.

They’re not working because sadly they disabled them. (None is receiving push notifications anymore)

well, that sucks, they were really usefull. they should also remove them from the options menu as they are misleading everyone
