Music stops playing automatically

So I have a problem when I am listening to music and I switch to Snapchat it stops playing. When I get a notification while listening to music my music stops playing. Why is this happening ?

this sounds a bit wierd. Have you tried to reinstall the Spotify app?

I deleted the app and reinstalled and signed back in. Still stops playing music when I switch to Snapchat or when I get notifications from Snapchat.

I deleted Snapchat and then reinstalled it. I also uprgraded to iOS 11.2.1 so I’m not sure which part fixed it but it is fixed!
