Upgrading to premium

Hey there

Im trying to avail of the Christmas special, 3 month of premium for 99c. I assumed it would be simple but...

I've clicked on the more info link as I log in, the page has no hyperlinks or update options it's info only.

When the ads come up in the app & I click to learn more, nothing happens - literally nothing.

When I clicked upgrade in account settings it provided 1 options, a weeks trial of premium.

What at am I missing? Can you access the offer in the app or do I need the desktop version? Is it restricted based on geography?

Im using the app on my iPad, it should be the latest version as I downloaded it this week.
