[Discover] View previous Discover Weekly playlists

Hi!

I had a great playlist "discover weekly" last week, but then it has updated and I cannot find songs from that list.

I was listening it only via iPhone.

There is nothing in the history on my Mac or iPhone and I would love to extract the titles of the songs so much!

Please, help me ;(

That's a real bummer. 😞
Unfortunately, Discover Weekly does refresh once a week and is not retrievable once it rolls over to the next week's choices.
I do have a few suggestions, but they may not quite relieve the pain.

1. You can try checking on the desktop version and see if anything comes up in "Recently Played." This may or may not have some of your recent song listening history.

2. You can also check your profile page (via phone or computer) and see if your recently played artists trigger any reminders of what songs you wanted to save.
It may only show who listen to the most, but in my example (screenshot) the 5 artists listed on the bottom were only randomly played this week and are not frequent for me. I dive into a lot of suggested Spotify playlists and tend to see many artists rotate throughout the week.

3.For future playlists - if you find a song you like or are listening to quite often I recommend saving to your library or transferring it to a temporary playlist.
One thing I personally started doing with Discover Weekly was dragging some songs over to a "limbo" playlist that I constantly refresh with songs I'm not sure about.
If I give it a few tries and don't like it I'll just delete from the playlist, but if I do like it I will move it over to a permanent playlist.

4. One more suggestion - Last.Fm
When you scrobble songs from Spotify to their service, you will get to see what you are currently listening to or whatever you have listened to in the past.
Tracking your songs only starts the day you create a profile though so it's no use for this issue unless you have already been tracking.
This has been a GREAT fall-back way though for me to find artists I listened to once or twice and really wanted to find again. I highly recommend it as a historical and social tool overall and if you are curious to deep dive into your music analytics in real time.
