Shuffling only plays first 50 songs

I have about 500 songs saved, and whenever I shuffle them & spotify only plays the first 50 of them.... its incredibly frustrating.

I’ve seen countless other topics about this. Ive tried everything I can go fix this. Nothings working & it’s a pain to deal with.

It seriously cannot be that difficult to program a shuffleplay that goes through all your saved songs.

Yes the same is happening to me. I am looking at posts from 2014 with the same issue and it is still not solved ! What in the **bleep** is so difficult !?

This is an issue on iOS, but I have figured out how to fix it on the 'desktop' app. If you double-click your playlist, it will begin shuffling everything in the playlist (as far as i can tell by viewing the queue).

When you hit SHUFFLE PLAY in your iPhone, it only shuffles a certain number of artists or tracks. Some are saying it depends on how the playlist is sorted and it will only play the first 50 or 100 tracks in that sorted list.

If you start the shuffle on your desktop app and then move over to play it on your phone, it will continue with the proper queue. Not the best solution, but at least it's a workaround.
