Cannot repeat song on other devices

I am experiencing a strange problem:

When I use spotify from my iphone, but sending to my amazon echo dot, spotify does not allow me to repeat a single song. When I change it back to play directly from my iphone, this feature returns.

Has anyone experienced this or know how to repeat a single track when sending to another device?

I have been having a similar problem when I send my music from my Apple hardware (iPad, MacBook Pro, iPhone 7) to two different wifi-enabled speakers (Marshall Stanmore Multiroom and Bluesound Pulse 2).
