Rotate Spotify screen

When using my phone in the car I put it in a car holder. The holder is horizontal in order to have better view for navigation etc. I use spotify also a lot in the car but when using the playlists and playing music I'm not able to rotate the screen. Is it allready possible? If not, pleas add this feature.

Unfortunately, it is not currently possible on the android or iPhone/iPod Touch apps.

There is an ideas topic suggesting that functionality be added here which I would suggest you add your support to.

I've requested landscape feature in Spotify several times. No response from them. This is March 14, 2016. The android version has it but iOS doesn't. A great opportunity wasted!

If they can do it on Android then why wouldn't it be available on iOS? Could it be that Apple are trying to hold back Spotify in favor of Apple Music? Doesn't make much sense!!
