Constant skipping and pausing

Hi, for the past month or so I have had an intermittent problem with music skipping, fast forwarding and pausing. There is no pattern to it - I can be using the phone or not. Headphones are not the cause, it does it without them. I have deleted and reloaded the app. This worked for a day or so one time, but no longer works.

i am on the latest iOS and it has been updated at least once while having this issue so it’s not specific to one iOS version.

i have also noticed that my playlists will go from fully downloaded to “downloading” periodically - could be a related problem?

it is driving me crazy and I’m about to cancel my subscription as Spotify is not usable for me right now.

SORRY, I think it might be headphone related as I have just put in my wireless headphones and it works ok after an hour of not working with normal headphones. It isn’t one type of headphones though, all plug in headphones are causing the issue - I have tried 3 different ones plus a car jack (but intermittently).
