Cannot sync local files from desktop -> iphone

I have fixed this problem, it turns out I just needed to wait or something, I went to check my phone 20 minutes later and they were just there, strange.

I downloaded an album that isn't available on Spotify from bandcamp, I've loaded in all the files into a playlist from my Local Files tab and they play just fine on the desktop. I wanted to be able to listen to this album on my iPhone 6, but I am not able to sync the songs across.

When I tried to sync them, they didnt even appear grey, they just simply aren't even there in the playlist on my phone. I've looked at other help threads and I've tried everything! (They're on the same network, the files are MP3s, I've put them both offline, my firewall is off, etc.)
