If I put my radio on “Spotify” mine will do the same thing and make me choose songs on my radio and not use my phone. Instead, I put my radio to “Bluetooth Audio” instead of “Spotify” and it doesn’t do that. Of course, it varies with different radios. I do have premium but can never pick a song i want to play.
