Songs skip when moving

Hello I’ve been using Spotify for my workouts for years now and this past week it’s suddenly started with a motion sensor that turns my music on and off when I move which makes it impossible to do exercise I have an iPhone 7 and I’m using iOS 11.3. I’ve googled it several times and it says to turn off the “shake to shuffle” option in my settings>music section, but it is not an option anywhere on my phone that I can find. Please help!

Do you use wired or wireless headphones?

They are wired. The same ones that come with the phone, but oddly I’ve never had this problem until recently. I thought I fixed it because it stopped but re-emerged this week again. So apparently I did not fix it.
