My Question or Issue

Is Spotify for students not available for university students in Quebec? If not what can we do?

No Quebec universities are listed on the Spotify/SheerID verification form.

Trying to add my university, they responded this:

"I would like to confirm that the offer is available to only selected Organizations and as I've searched with your school information "Université de Montréal" is not eligible because this offer is currently only available to students currently enrolled at a Title IV, degree-granting college or university.
We're sorry that you're not eligible for this offer at this time.

Title IV accreditation is a designation to participate in the US federal financial aid program. So, what they are saying is that Spotify student verification is only available to US students. They won't help further.

Thank you for your reply in this thread

We've checked backstage with our internal teams and received confirmation that unfortunately, the offer isn't available. Premium Student is not launched in Quebec at this time, hence students in universities in this province aren't eligible for the discount. Apologies for any confusion created on our end before.

On another note, it seems like the Community folks have created an Idea about this. If you'd like to see that option available, we'd suggest that you check this idea here. Make sure you leave your vote to support it, so that it would have a better chance of being considered, as Spotify always strives to improve your experience.

Please note that even if an idea is currently set to “Not Right Now” you can still give it a thumbs up as we revisit those ideas on regular intervals. It might be that their time would be right in the future!

Nope!

C'est à cause de l'OPC. Essentiellement, Spotify ne peut pas changer le prix d'un forfait sans autorisation du client. Après le rabais étudiant, ils augmentent automatiquement au prix régulier. Ce que Spotify pourrait faire est de ne pas renouveler l'abonnement à fin du rabais étudiant, mais ils ne le font pas.

Bonjour, je m’appelle Claude, je suis du Québec, j’ai eu une offre d’abonnement gratuit ds mes couriels pour 3 mois et j’ai jamais été abonnés à spotify quand j’essaie de remplir le formulaire et que j’entre la province ça bloque et je ne peux plus continuer à remplir ???????????
