Student ID discount

It appears Spotify offers a student rate on subscriptions. However, they appear to be very incompetent at validating the student ID.

Additionally, it is obvious that they have no mechanism by which to communicate directly with Spotify support to rectify the issue.

The Student ID gets verified by SheerID, after which the option to subscribe to Student Premium becomes available on Spotify.

I am trying to get the student plan but when i click on the page it gives an error. I don't have this issue with the other subscription plans only the student one. I also clicked the link you provided and tried to open the SheerID page but it gives the same error it says 404 and heartbreaks can you please help. 🙂

Thanks for posting in this thread and for the details.

Would you mind trying to open the links in a different browser? It's a good idea to clear the cache and cookies from time to time as they can cause different issues. If you're still seeing error messages, try on another device if it's possible in an incognito-window.

If none of the steps make any difference, it'd be great if you could send us a screenshot showing the error messages and links, just make sure no sensitive or personal info is visible.

I’ve already tried that and three different browsers without a VPN all security turned off. It is your site that is failing. This is a simple matter of seeing the academic email. Send an email to it and I can respond to it Bob your uncle. Why is this so complicated? Never gone through this with any organization. Not to mention you have a military discount too butanyway I provided my academic email
