Hello. So, while trying to verify if my university is eligible for the student discount I was charged without know it.

Currently the payment is "in process" and I don't have any subscriptions or credit card info on my account. The verification process was also unsuccesfull.

Will the payment be just incompleted, and I will get the money back, or is there some payment included for verification process that I didn't know of ?

And Will I be charged monthly ? is there any way to clear my credit card info just to make sure ?

Hey @TheMiziko,

If Spotify is unable to verify your student I.D, you won’t be eligible to claim the student discount. In this instance, any charges will show on your statement as ‘pending’. This means your bank has put a temporary authorization on the funds, but no money has actually been taken.

Once the bank confirms your student I.D failed to verify successfully, the money will reappear on your statement. This can take up to 48 hours, depending on your bank. You can reach out to them for more information about any pending payments.
