First Month Subscription Free for Students

My Question or Issue

As spotify is offering first month premium subscription free. Why it is not applied to the student login ?

I have registered myself as a stundent, but I am confused as the paid subscription starts from the first month. which, ideally is wrong.

Does anyone know how to opt for free first month subscription and then carry on with student discount for later months.

In the first snapshot you can see that I have verified my student account. and in the second screenshot spotify says first 30 days is free.

As I have verified the student account I would subscribe for the premium account but will I get first 30 days free ??

That is the query here. As I have not yet clicked on the link from first screen shot. I need to know policy of first 30 days free for students.

Hey @Apurva.

It seems like that link took you somewhere else within Spotify. Spotify Premium for Students does not have the 30-day trial, but you can claim the 30-day trial at https://spotify.com/premium (if you haven't tried it yet) and after successfully signing up to that, you can sign up for the Student Discount at https://spotify.com/student.

If you have already tried it, then you'll have to process payment upfront before using your subscription as there is no trial.
