Follow button not doing what it should

My Question or Issue

For some reason, part of the artists I follow never make it into the Artists tab, unless I follow them through the three dots menu next to the "Follow" button. Just recently I followed a bunch, but part of those didn't appear in said tab, and I had to search through recently played to find them again, only to see it say that I'm following them. Reopening the app, rebooting PC and unfollowing/following artists again doesn't fix the issue, only going back to artist's page and following through the three dots menu.

We'd recommend you run a clean reinstall of the app on your device, by following the steps from this Spotify Guide exactly. This is often overlooked, but assures that you're running the latest app version and it avoids possible issues caused by corrupted cache.

If after the clean reinstall the issue persists, let us know if this is happening on all of your devices or just a single one, as well as the device model, OS version and Spotify version.
