My Question or Issue

When playing songs from a playlist, the currently playing song is not highlighted when viewing the playlist. This only occurs when using Spotify Connect. This happens on both Android and Windows.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community.

First we'd like to ask you to restart your router to see if that makes any difference

If that doesn't do the trick, can you perform a clean reinstall of both devices? This will make sure there's no old cache files causing this.

If there's still no changes, can you have someone log in with their account on one of the devices - such as a friend or a family member? This will help us understand if it's account related or not.

We'll keep an eye out for your reply.

This is definitely still a bug. As soon as i switch to spotify connect, the highlight vanishes.

I'm using spotify web.
