exclude play list from generated content

Every once in a while I list to a channel/playlist while I fall asleep. I would like to stop this music from getting into all my generated playlists, the ones generated for me. I don't what the sleepy music in my daily drive playlist. How do I do that?

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community!

I recommend using Private Listening in this case, since anything you listen to in a Private Session may not influence your music recommendations.

There is also currently a Live Idea in the Idea Exchange for being able to exclude selected playlists from Spotify’s recommendations. If this is something you’re interested in, I recommend adding your +VOTE to this idea (even though its current Status is “Not Right Now”). The more votes an idea gets, the likelier it is that Spotify will implement it, and you can read more about how feedback on ideas reaches Spotify here.
