Plan

Premium

Country

USA

Device

Windows client, web client (chrome), and android.

Operating System

Windows 10, Android 11/12

My Question or Issue

Hi! This is a quirk I've noticed in my years listening to Spotify. When I listen to a song on repeat, it does not loop perfectly. There is always an awkward pause right at the beginning and end of the song. It is worse on android than on windows. Crossfade does not work, because I want seamless playback from end to beginning, not a fade from *near* the end/beginning. The smooth transition button also does not work. This only seems to happen when I'm listening to the same song, because when I listen to an album or playlist, songs play directly on top of each other like they should. Is there something I can do to fix this for myself, or is this just a limitation of Spotify's software? Thank you for your time!
