Hey @Richardmaja,

Welcome to the Community and thanks for reaching out to us!

It sounds like you have some songs in your playing queue and when you start streaming an album the queued songs kick in after the first song. Could you check out your queue with the steps here and remove the songs?

You can try disabling Autoplay and Automix:

Open the Spotify app and go to Settings.

Under the Playback tab, disable Autoplay and Automix (note that Automix is only present in the mobile app).

That way when you play an album, only the tracks from the album will play and when the album finishes, the playback will stop.

Let us know how it goes.

Cheers!

Plan

Premium

Country

Device

(iPhone 8, Samsung Galaxy 9, Macbook Pro late 2016)

Operating System

(iOS 10, Android Oreo, Windows 10,etc.)

My Question or Issue

I am new to Spotify and have a specific problem that I can't see how to solve.

When I choose a playlist to listen to, the first song plays and then skips out of that playlist to something else instead of playing the whole playlist (or album).

To explain: I have an album of Oscar Peterson music. I start the playback of the album and after the playing the first song the program skips to another album of unrelated music and continues playing. I can't see any setting to control this.

Can someone help me with this and tell me what I am doing wrong.

Thank you.
