Spotify repeat button glitch

Hello,

When I click the repeat button, so that the single song was repeating itself, and then switch to some other song, the repeat mode changes back to repeating the whole playlist, instead of a single song.

Because of that I have to click the repeat button every time I change a song, in order to enable again the "repeat single song" mode.

That is very irritating.

None of the music players, that I have used before have had this kind of problem.

I have searched through out the internet for a solution, but no clear answer has been found.

I have tried deleting cache, data and reinstalling Spotify, but the problem persists.

How is it possible to fix this?

Hope you're doing great!

This is how the repeat button is intended to work on Spotify, it will default to repeat all when you go to a different song that you had repeat one enabled for.

However, if you would like this behavior to change you can support this idea. The more votes it gathers the more likely it will be for Spotify to consider implementing it.
