Filtering song won't play next song on the filtered list

When I try to filter on my playlist (I have over 900 songs) the next song that plays is the one on the playlist and not on the filtered one. Let's say. I wanna hear a specific band, but that band has done collabs with other artist and I want to hear those as well. When I try to play the song on the filtered list, the next song played is not from the filtered list, but from the main list. I can't use the artist tab because it won't play the collabs songs.
