Issue changing playlist photo

So a few months ago i uploaded photos to my playlists and for a week or so now I’ve been trying to remove them as i want the original photo style but the ‘remove image’ option is completely blocked out and i’m not entirely sure what to do.

I have tried:

logging out/logging in

uninstalling/reinstalling app

restarted my device (iPhone 11 Pro Max)

Open to suggestions! Also curious if anyone else is having this issue??

Hello 💚
There doesn't seem to be existing articles on such issues, meaning it's not that common. If possible, would you try using Spotify on a different WiFi connection or mobile data?
You could also look around and see if any other features are malfunctioning.
Lastly, if you're using a VPN,it might cause some issues in the app

Thanks for responding!
I dont use a VPN and have since tried my data as well as 2 different wifi connections and nothing has changed.

I’ll keep an eye out for any other issues but as of now that seems to be my only one.

Im still open to suggestions and will keep this updated!

I'll also be on the lookout for any info that pops up regarding this.
One last thing,
You could make a new playlist by using the "add to other playlist" button.
It doesn't take much time right...
