[Discover] New Releases Tab

A section of Spotify implemented specifically to share to you new releases of artists you listen to. It isn't the easiest for artists to promote their music, especially on a platform with a popular paid ad free membership option. Adding a section that allows users to scroll through latest Spotify releases of artist music would be an amazing addition. It could have filters such as date back how long the track/album might of been released from say in past 3 months, 6 months, or year. Also filter by artist so everything is a lot less cluttered.

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community and welcome. We moved your post from Ideas to the help boards as it's content fits better here.

This is a feature that is already implemented on the mobile app. It’s a “bell” button set on the top of your home page and it is called What’s new. It shows the latest releases of the artists you’re following.

You can see how it works in the section What’s new from this article.

At the moment there's no option of this on the desktop app. For now we can't say when or if this will be a feature on the desktop app.
