My Question or Issue

I would love to be able to set "shuffle" on specific playlists. Some of your music you want to listen to in shuffle mode (like work music or something like it). Some playlists are build up, or sequencilly built to ramp up/ ramp down.

This is kinda tricky to solve, since what happens when you set the shuffle setting for the "global" play functionality. I would say this "global" setting is still the one true source for shuffle functionality.

However this "shuffle or not shuffle" if possible could be set on the playlist itself. It does not have to be shuffle non suffle. But rather the setting is that this playlist is a sequencal build up and should be played in order. And the other way around that this playlist can be played in shuffle mode.

Thanks for sharing your suggestion with the Community!

We appreciate your feedback and suggestion for improving the functionality of Shuffle. You can still activate/ deactivate Shuffle mode on each playlist or album before starting it.

We've passed your idea on to the right folks at Spotify, who're working on making the app more user friendly, but as far as we're aware there are no immediate plans to make the Shuffle option exclusive to select playlists or albums.
