Private playlists should be created by default, not public

The toggle in social settings to make them private by default also doesn't work. Every new playlist I create is public

There should also be a clear label on every public playlist to indicate that everyone can see it.

Spotify is not a social network for me and probably most others. I give Spotify money, I receive access to music. This shouldn't be hard to understand, so I look forward to this being resolved.
