Local Files metadata won't update

My Question or Issue

When I update the metadata of a Local Files song I've already added to a Spotify playlist in MP3Tag (if there's a typo in the album for example), it won't update in said playlist. I have to manually remove and re-add it in order for it to display correctly. Is there a fix for this?

We can confirm this is an expected behavior. To change the name, you'll need to remove the file and re add it, as you've been doing it so far.
