Not able to play anything from Liked Songs

My Question or Issue

I am using Spotify app on Mi Box S and when I'm trying to play anything from my Liked Songs, I simply can't do it, because nothing happens, althought current playback stops (if there is one), but the new one doesn't start. I think that's because I have more than 11k songs and Spotify somehow wants to scan them all before playing just one song, even though I don't need it...?

I guess that's a bug, but would be like to hear from someone facing the same issue or anyone having any thoughts about what might temporarily fix it until the official fix.

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

Just to confirm, is this only happening with your Liked songs or with other playlists as well? Also, are your Liked songs play fine on other devices such as your phone, PC?

On another note, we'd like to know if this has always happened or if it started happening after a specific event such as an update.

Additionally, does the same happen with a different internet connection?

We'll be on the lookout.

Hello,

Yes, it's only happening to Liked songs. They play completely fine on my phone and PC.

Since I downloaded Spotify app to my TV, it always has been like that.

I have 5 GHz network and 2.4 GHz network and this problem is happening on both of them.

Thanks for the reply.

In order test if this issue is related to the number of liked songs, it would be best if you create a free test account and log in with that. Add a few songs to Liked Songs and try playing them on the TV.
