Local Files on Android not discovered/playing

After reinstalling the Spotify app on my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, due to playback issues, it is now no longer possible to play local files that are on my device (and have been since before the reinstall took place)

Spotify just says "Spotify can't play this right now; This song isn't available on your device"

Yes, local files is on in the settings and yes the app has permission to read local files.

Thanks for reaching out. It's possible that during the reinstall process, the app's cache has become corrupted, which can lead to all kinds of issues. To remedy this, try performing a clean reinstall. Be advised that after doing so, you will have to re-download any music or podcasts you had saved for offline listening.
