Spotify playlist hangs

I will start playing a playlist and after anywhere from 1-10 songs, the playlist will just hang on "play" and have no song playing. I cannot stop it. The only fix is to play another playlist. Then that one will hang and I can go back and play the first until it hangs. I don't lose internet connection and I've tried deleting data/cache, reinstalling the app, deleting system partition cache. Everything short of factory resetting the phone.

It's been doing it for about a week and a half, so I guess it started in early December.
