It has only just started happening. Any ideas why? I have tried to logging out, closing spotify.

Hi there @webstergypsy

Welcome to the Community. We moved your post from Chats to the help boards as its content fits better here.

This type of issue is usually related to the Play queue. When you add a playlist or album to the queue by mistake, it will keep playing after the song currently playing. To fix it, we'd recommend clearing the play queue by following the steps mentioned in this article.

If the issue persists, we'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article. This is often an overlooked step, but it's more thorough than a quick one and can be helpful in getting rid of any cache that might be causing trouble.

Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes.
