No option to create folders?

I usually use the web version on Windows 11, but when I realized I didn't have the option to create a folder at all (and as far as I know never have, I only just learned that is supposed to be an option), so I downloaded the app. That still wasn't an option on the right-clicked drop down menu. So I did a clean uninstall and reinstalled, still nothing, and nothing on the website either. So I assume it's an issue with my account at this point?

Hi there @EmmyJ!

Interesting. You should be able to create folders in the desktop app. Could you confirm that you've tried creating one by right-clicking on one of your playlists in the main panel to the left? You should see the option there.

If you still don't, it's worth checking if reinstalling Spotify from a different source would do the trick: if you downloaded the current version from the Microsoft Store, try the one from our website instead, and vice versa.

Ah! I had been right-clicking on playlists from the main section, but I
hadn't thought to try from the side bar. That worked! Thanks!
