Song missing from history

I had Spotify on Android phone playing a song (via another song's radio) and I tried to switch playback to my Windows computer (desktop Spotify) but this ended up in an error saying the song is not available. Then the phone proceeded to play next song from queue but the song in question completely disappeared from recent history both on phone and computer.

I need to know the name of the song! How can I get it back?

If you don't see the track in your listening history on mobile, you can download a copy of your personal data here which will include the tracks you've played on all your devices in the last year.

Regarding the error message on your desktop, we'd suggest checking your Windows hosts file using this guide.

Thanks I did request the data but in the end didn't need it. The song showed up in listening history on my phone after I closed and reopened the application.
